Raisa is born by her parents in Los Angeles by both of her parents. Irlanda Almendarez & Italia Almendarez. Francia means France which is Italian. Italia is Italy in Italian The same as Irlanda refers to Ireland. Her mother, Virginia Almendarez has Mexican roots and her father, Renan, has roots in Honduras. Renan took the name El Cucuy shortly when Francia was born. Renan is a popular radio host, and one of the most popular Latino DJs who reside in Los Angeles. Francia and her two sisters was raised by the family of a famous father. She is fluent in both Spanish as well as English. Francia's parents enrolled her in dancing classes at only five.
